Bengal Liberty: ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়কে ভয় পেয়ে পালাচ্ছে! এমন অবাক করা অভিযোগ সামনে তুলে আনলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী। সময় সীমা পেরিয়ে যাওয়ায় গান্ধি মূর্তির পাদদেশে গেড়ে বসা তৃণমূলের দলীয় মঞ্চ খুলতে গিয়েছিলেন সেনাবাহিনীর জওয়ানরা। তখনই সংঘাতের আবহ তৈরি হয়। দেখা যায়, মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় মঞ্চ পরিদর্শনে যান। এবং, সেখানে সেনাবাহিনীকে নানা ভাষায় কটূক্তি করতে শুরু করেন।
সেনা জওয়ানদের কি বললেন মমতা?(mamata banarjee)
‘‘প্যান্ডেল আর্মিকে দিয়ে খুলিয়েছে। যদি সেনাবাহিনীকে বিজেপির কথায় চলতে হয়, তাহলে স্পষ্ট দেশটা কোথায় যাচ্ছে! পুলিশকে বললে আমরা খুলে দিতাম। অন্য জায়গায় নিয়ে যেতাম। গান্ধি মূর্তির পাদদেশে অন্যায়, অত্যাচারের প্রতিবাদ করি। ২০০-র মতো সেনা আমায় দেখে ছুটে পালাচ্ছিল! এটা বিজেপি, দিল্লি, ডিফেন্স মিনিস্টারের কথায় করেছে।’’
পাল্টা সেনাবাহিনীর তরফে দেওয়া বিবৃতি স্পষ্ট করছে, মঞ্চের অনুমতি ২ দিনের দেওয়া হয়েছিল। সেটি প্রতিরক্ষা মন্ত্রকের সঙ্গে কথা বলে ৩ দিন করে দেওয়া যায়। কিন্তু, সংশ্লিষ্ট মঞ্চটি ১ মাসের বেশি সময় ধরে রয়েছে। সেনাবাহিনীর বিবৃতি ইংরেজিতে দেওয়া হয়েছে। সেটি সরাসরি এই প্রতিবেদনে তুলে ধরা হচ্ছে।
REMOVAL OF TEMPORARY STRUCTURE
Indian army (Local military Authority, Kolkata) gives permission for events in the Maidan area for a duration of two days, as directed by the Hon’ble supreme court of India. Permission for events greater than 3 days need to be obtained from the MoD, Govt of India. Permission for conduct of events were provided for 2 days , however the stage has been put up of almost a month, several reminders have been sent to the organisers for removal of the temporary structure however it was not removed. Thereafter the Kolkata police was informed and the structure was being removed by the Indian Army.
তৃণমূল সূত্রে জানা যাচ্ছে, ২ আগস্ট থেকে ২১ ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত গান্ধি মূর্তির পাদদেশে নির্মিত এই মঞ্চের মাধ্যমে দলীয় মোট ১৭টি সভা করার পরিকল্পনা ছিল মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের। সেই তালিকা নিম্নে তুলে ধরা হচ্ছে।

সেনাবাহিনীকে মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর অপমানের অভিযোগ সামনে এনে প্রথমে এক্স-হ্যান্ডেল পোস্ট করেন বিরোধী দলনেতা শুভেন্দু অধিকারী। তিনি লেখেন―
Shame on you, Mamata Banerjee. Your audacity to defame the Indian Army, the pride of our nation, is a new low. We always knew that you are an Anti National, however claiming that 200 brave Army personnel “ran away” when you arrived at the Maidan is not just the biggest lie you ever uttered, it’s a disgusting attempt to tarnish the honour of our Armed Forces, whose courage and sacrifice are unmatched. This is the same Army that protects our borders, stands tall in crises, and commands respect worldwide. Yet, you, in your desperate bid to project yourself as a “street fighter,” have stooped to insulting their dignity for cheap political mileage. The facts expose your deceit. The TMC’s temporary structure in the Maidan, illegally occupying public land for nearly a month, violated the Indian Army’s clear two-day permission, as mandated by the Hon’ble Supreme Court. Despite multiple reminders, your party arrogantly refused to remove it, forcing the Army to step in after intimating the Kolkata Police. And now, instead of owning up to your party’s defiance, you spin a false narrative to save face. This is shamelessness. Mamata Banerjee, your obsession with power has blinded you to the point of disrespecting our Jawans. You’ve insulted not just the Army but every Indian who holds them in reverence. Your insulting words are an attempt to degrade their valor. Resign immediately if you have any shred of dignity left.
শুভেন্দু অধিকারীর পোস্টের মূল বক্তব্য, সস্তার রাজনৈতিক প্রচার করতে ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর মর্যাদা ক্ষুণ্ণ করেছেন মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। পরে জাতীয় পতাকা হাতে বিজেপি বিধায়কদের সঙ্গে নিয়ে শুভেন্দু অধিকারী গান্ধি মূর্তির পাদদেশে হাজির হন। স্লোগানিং করেন। সেখানে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে বলেন, ‘ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়কে ভয় করে? এই আর্মি বিরোধী মমতার বিরুদ্ধে জাতীয় পতাকা হাতে দেশ জুড়ে আন্দোলন করুন জনগণ।’
অন্যদিকে, বিধানসভার বিরোধী মুখ্য সচেতক শঙ্কর ঘোষ বলেন, ‘‘ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীকে দেখে পাকিস্তান পালিয়ে যায়। আর মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়কে দেখে ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনীর জওয়ানরা পালায়। পাকিস্তান কয়েকদিন পর মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করবে!’’
